Jennifer was born in Allentown, PA and began her formal ballet training at the age of six under the instruction of Dolores Haltzman.She continued her studies at schools including Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, School of American Ballet, and the Joffrey Ballet School.She received private instruction from prestigious artists including Gelsey Kirkland, Gloria Govern, Jonathan Watts, Maria Vegh, and Choo San Goh.Jennifer performed professionally with the Joffrey Ballet Concert Dancers, Joffrey II, Joffrey Ballet, Ballet de France, Oakland Ballet, and Ballet West.She played Principal roles in Ben Stevenson’s Coppelia and Alice in Wonderland.Jennifer also took leading roles in Le Corsaire, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Divertimento #15, and Vespri, to name a few.She also appeared as a guest artist with numerous American Ballet companies.Her professional ballet career spanned sixteen years.Jennifer retired as a Principal Artist from Ballet West in 1998 and began teaching ballet locally.Currently, Jennifer is working as an Oncology Research Nurse in Clinical Trials at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and enjoys imparting her passion of the art of dance with every opportunity.
