Kimberly currently dances professionally as a member of Odyssey Dance Theatre. She received the greater part of her early training in ballet, jazz, and hip hop at The Dance Company with her mother, Dixie, and staff. Further training has been at Ballet West Academy, New York's Broadway Dance Center, STEPS on Broadway, Alvin Ailey, and American Ballet Theatre; and Hollywood's EDGE Performing Arts Center. Moreover, she was accepted by audition to American Ballet Theatre's Summer Intensive.
She was a concert soloist at The Dance Company on three occasions, was a member of their performing company, Jazzworks, for six years, and Ballet Theatre Company for four years. She has also performed in Ballet West's "Nutcracker," and she performed a solo variation at her graduation performance with Ballet West Academy.
As a teenager, Kimberly was also chosen by audition to perform with Odyssey Dance Theatre's "Thriller" in their youth cast, as well as the Rocky Point Haunted House. Other honors include several Solo Competition First Place awards and Overall Best Choreography awards. She was later accepted by audition into the University of Utah Department of Ballet as a Ballet Major.
Kimberly took one year off during college as a ballet major to receive intensive training in New York City with renowned instructors and choreographers in ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical modern, and tap. Her experience has given her further innovative and creative teaching skills, which she brings to her students at The Dance Company.
