Kristina began her dance training at the age of 8 at a small studio in Kennewick, Washington. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance. After dancing for about one minute, she knew that she wanted to dance for the rest of her life! Kristina went on to be a Dance Major with an emphasis in Ballet at Brigham Young University. While attending BYU she performed and toured with Theatre Ballet. She was also able to choreograph several dances including parts of the Out Reach program that toured Salt Lake grade schools. Kristina then decided to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Utah. While attending the U of U, she performed and choreographed for Character Dance Ensemble, which toured internationally. Kristina has taught ballet classes at both BYU and U of U and hopes to teach for many years to come! She also recently had her first baby!
