Melanie began her dance training at The Dance Company when she was four.  She studied ballet and jazz through her high school years and was a member of The Dance Company's top performing jazz company, Jazzworks, for two years.  Melanie has spent several weeks dancing at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, and was an officer of Highland High's Dance Company, where she excelled in creating several pieces of original choreography.  Melanie graduated from the University of Utah and is married to Sterling Crockett.  Melanie has been teaching ballet and jazz for several years now and is a favorite of many of her students.
