Showcase 2026
Welcome to our TDC Performing Company Showcase! This performance is designed to help our competitive teams by debuting their company pieces before our competition season begins. We are very proud of these dancers and all the hard work they have put into their routines. Thank you for your support!

- Please silence your cell phones
- There is a brief 10 min intermission. Show is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes long.
- You may take photo and video as long as you do not use flash and you are not obstructing the view of other patrons. We are recording both shows and will send parents the link.
- Please be patient with us in between pieces. There may be delays as we have many quick changes and many dancers almost back to back with pieces.

Senior Highlights
Audrey Andrus
Audrey has been dancing for as long as she can remember. She took her first class when she was three and immediately fell in love with it. Over the years at TDC, she has grown as a dancer and made some of her best friends. One of her favorite memories is going to New York with her team, an experience she will never forget. Looking ahead, Audrey plans to study business and serve an LDS mission. She is especially grateful to her teachers, who have always supported her and helped her become the person she is today.

Sophie Farrell
Sophie has been dancing since she was just a little girl and learning how to walk. She took her first ballet class at just two years old and has loved it ever since. Dance has been so meaningful to her throughout her life and is so grateful for all the experiences she has had with it. Sophie loves The Dance Company and although she just transferred this year she has made some unforgettable memories and best friends. Sophie plans to do pre-med and study to become a radiologist at a university in California. She wants to thank her amazing teachers and peers at TDC that have helped make her feel so welcome and loved as well as her amazing mom who she couldn’t have done this without and loves so much.

Marlee Hatch
Marlee has been dancing since she was learning how to walk and talk, and has loved it ever since. She says TDC has not only made her a better dancer, but a better person and she will forever be grateful for that. She has made some of her best friends and amazing connections along the way. One of her favorite memories is the trip to New York she took with her team and the dance classes they attended. Going forward, Marlee hopes to do pre-med and move to California! She is very grateful to all of her teachers, but especially her amazing mom who has made all of her hopes and dreams a reality.

Charlotte Johnsen
Charlotte was born to dance. From as long as we can remember, she was dancing, twirling, and skipping to a beat. Growing up watching her 2 brothers compete in sports, Charlotte was naturally drawn to being apart of a team. We watched her character shape over the years, loving and cheering her teammates on through wins and defeats. TDC has provided her a home away from home, by dance teachers and advocates who loved and nurtured her through impressionable years. Instilling a deep confidence in herself and abilities, and what she has to offer, on and off the dance floor. From Miss Lauri's 3 year old ballet class, to Heather's solos, she felt valued. Dancing every style you can think of, and passionately diving into the opposites of contemporary and hip-hop. TDC not only developed her love for dance movement and technique, but also created a love for teaching, and creating choreography. Some of her favorite memories are working on solos with her favorite teachers, competing with her best friends on the dance floor, and her favorite trips to NYC, where she got to feel like a professional dancer for a few days. TDC will always hold a special place in Charlotte’s heart. With the end of her senior year insight, Charlotte is excited to go study at BYU with her brothers, and looks forward to serving an LDS mission.

Eav Nielsen
Eav took her first dance class at the age of two, sparking a love for dance that has stayed with her ever since. She began training at The Dance Company at age six and later returned at thirteen. Throughout her time at TDC, Eav’s passion for dance has continued to grow, and she has formed lifelong friendships along the way. After high school, Eav plans to study business in college, though she is still deciding where she will attend. She would like to thank the owners, teachers, and fellow dancers at The Dance Company for helping her grow—not only as a dancer, but as a person. Eav is incredibly grateful for the unforgettable experiences and memories she has made at TDC.

Lucy Richards
Lucy has been dancing since she was two. She grew up competing at The Dance Project SLC, training in jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and ballroom. Lucy joined The Dance Company last year and has loved her experience. She is grateful for the new friendships and amazing mentors the studio has provided for her. Lucy has been a member of Olympus Dance Company throughout high school and has enjoyed that as well. After graduation she plans to study business in college, but is currently undecided on which college she will attend. She loves dance and hopes to involve it in her future!

Millie Rigby
Millie has been dancing since she was 4 years old. She has been dancing at The Dance Company for as long as she can remember and she has loved it. Millie has taken every class that TDC has offered, but she has had the most fun in contemporary and company class. One of her favorite memories was her first competition back after taking two years off from competing. She has loved meeting her best friends and is going to miss them so much. After high school Millie wants to do a semester of school before leaving on an LDS mission. Millie would like to thank all of her teachers and mentors that have helped her grow throughout the years. She has loved every minute of her time spent here and she will miss seeing everyone each week. They have shaped her into the person she is today.

Lucy Toronto
Lucy has been dancing ever since she was little. Her first ever dance classes were at The Dance Company, and she knew immediately she loved dance. She continued to dance at TDC for many years. And also trained at Performing Dance Center doing different styles like ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. She’s always loved dance and is so grateful for everything it’s taught her. After graduation she plans on going to college at either BYU or Utah State. Although this is her only year on Elite Company she is so grateful for all the memories she made with the team and can’t think of a better way to end her high school dance career.

Lien Hoa 'Lingi' Torres
Lien Hoa took her first ballet class from Miss Lauri when she was 8 years old. Being on a TDC performing company gave her the skills to be on Highland Dance Company and Varsity Cheer for all four years of high school while earning All-American Cheer Awards since freshman year. Lien Hoa is cheer captain, an AP Scholar, English Sterling Scholar, Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper and yearbook and ranked #1 in her class. She has been published by the Salt Lake Tribune, been a guest speaker at the University of Utah, and has won state awards in photography and journalism. She was awarded the President John R. Park $10,000 annual merit scholarship at the University of Utah but Lingi is not sure where she’ll attend college. She plans to major in neuroscience or biology. Her favorite TDC memory is traveling to compete in Arizona and rooming with Millie, Audrey and Eav. Dance brought Lingi out of her shell and she couldn’t have done it without her teachers. She is especially thankful for Hilary, Heather and Lauren for giving her the technical training and love to achieve her dance dreams.
