Born and raised in Miami, FL, Amanda Marie Sanchez tenaciously pursued the art of dance at a young age. She trained in multiple styles such as classical ballet, lyrical, Graham, jazz, hi-hop, flamenco, and Latin ballroom. Her competitive years began at the age of seven and continued until attending The University of California Los Angeles where she received a BA in World Arts and Cultures/Dance in addition to a Visual and Performing Arts Education Minor. Amanda has received several accolades during her dance career, but her greatest achievement was being selected as a YoungArts Finalist for modern dance. Amanda has worked with a handful of Los Angeles dance companies, free-lance artists, and celebrities such as; Karmagraphy Dance Entertainment Company, Leanne Iacovetta Dance Company, Lionel Popkin, Rennie Harris, MissFunk Jackie Lopez, Anjali Ray, David Tutera and JenCarlos Canela. Amanda is passionate about her art and is never shy to declare her love for its existence!
