ELLIOTT KELLER

Originally from Rochester, NY, Elliott Keller began his dance training at a young age under the direction of Lindsey Rozzi. Having received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University at Buffalo, he spent his undergraduate career performing with the Zodiaque Dance Company and Melanie Aceto Contemporary Dance Company at Jacob's Pillow, choreographing for the Zodiaque Dance Ensemble, Infinity Dance Project, and Emerging Choreographer's Showcase, and directing the student-run Dancer's Workshop. He spent his summers training with various companies, including the Jose Limon Dance Company, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Parsons Dance Company, and the Joffrey Ballet School.

Elliott's first professional work was primarily in commercial settings, performing for Celebrity Cruises, Busch Gardens in Virginia, Mike Moloney Entertainment in Las Vegas, and Poet Theatricals in Florida. In 2014, he relocated to Brooklyn, New York. Throughout his four years in New York, he performed on mostly a freelance basis with a variety of companies including the all-male group Project 44, Sans Limites Dance, Balaro Dance, Melder Movement, and with the Warp Trio & Urban Playground Chamber Orchestra. As a choreographer, Elliott has created work for the Zodiaque Dance Company, the BalaSole Dance Company, Madame Mathieu's Soiree, and Celebrity Cruises, among others.

As a teaching artist, Elliott has spent a great deal of time teaching for schools and studios throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Virginia. He found himself teaching for PizArts Dance on a tour throughout Argentina during the summer of 2017. He has also taught at several collegiate institutions, such as the University at Buffalo, SUNY Fredonia, and Nazareth College.

Elliott is currently a Master of Fine Arts candidate and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the School of Dance at the University of Utah.
